The Roommate is the story about college desing student Sara(Minka Kelly) who becomes roommates with rich girl Rebecca (Leighton Meester).The two hit it off and becomes friends. Suddenly, Rebecca starts to become obsessed with Sara and threatens anyone who associates with her.

leighton Meester who played Rebecca did a fine job being the antagonist. You could literally feel her obsessiveness as if you were there. Minka Kelly also did a well job playing the frighten protagonist Sara who doesn't know whether to like Rebecca or fear her. There was an unnecessary character. There will always be one. In this case it was Kim Johnnson(Katerina Graham). You only saw her in two scenes and since she wasn't close to Sara she was not a target of Rebecca. This making her character boring. Then ther was Sara's bpyfriend Stephen(cam Gigandet) who played the sweet part boy. His acting was okay, but his character barely helped Sara out. Overall the acting was good.
